You are probably wondering whether the reform programme will be discontinued, or whether it is now “rudderless”. No. Only the programme’s management will change.

Better policymaking
Better policymaking doesn’t mean generating more policy. Indeed, the opposite is often true. The Cabinet believes that it is both desirable and possible for central government to reduce the number of policy measures it produces, transfer policy matters to lower tiers of government, and eliminate or trim policies from the past.
